Today, Met Fans across METropolis commemorate the 34th anniversary of the day Tom Seaver was traded to the Cincinnati Reds.
In exchange for The Franchise, the Mets received Doug Flynn; Pat Zachry; Dan Norman; and a young left fielder named Steve Henderson; considered at the time to be the Reds'
